What to Expect at Your First Session
Arrival & Settling In
Welcome to my Relaxation Station;Â Take a moment to breathe, use the restroom and settle into the quiet space before we begin.
The Intake Process
We'll talk briefly about your medical history and any current areas of focus or discomfort you're feeling. Please let me know if you have allergies or parts of your body you'd like me to avoid.Â
Conversation About Goals
You don't need professional terms, just tell me what hurts. Together, we'll decide on the best plan of action based on how you want to feel when you get off the table.Â
On-Table Work
During treatment, I use collaborative, consent-based touch. Your comfort is the priority through every movement. You will be covered with a drape the entire time. The table will be warm; you'll lie on clean, 100% cotton sheets. Please communicate your needs and comfort honestly; you deserve to feel at ease.Â
Wrapping Up
We'll finish with a quick check-in on how you feel and discuss simple action you can take home to encourage lasting results.Â
Open Feedback
My approach is always open. You are encouraged to provide feedback on pressure and depth at any point. I am open to hear any and all feedback at anytime. Thank you!
Our Specialized Approach for New Clients
Whether you’re coming off a double shift on your feet, training for your next trail race, or hunched over a canvas in your studio, our work is built to meet you where you are. We combine deep tissue, myofascial release, and cupping to address the specific physical demands of your Denver life, translating clinical technique into tangible physical relief.
More space in your shoulders: Feel the weight of a long week lift after hours spent at a desk or on the line.
✓
Fluidity for your feet: Deep Myofascial work helps release the arches and calves of active workers and athletes.
✓
Better recovery cycles: Intentional cupping flushes out stale tension so you can get back to training faster.
✓
"As a line cook, I’m on my feet for 10 hours straight. I was nervous about massage because I'm always so tight, but Alex really listened. I left feeling like I could actually stand up straight without that nagging lower back pull for the first time in months."
— Jordan, Restaurant Worker
Client Experiences
"Training for the Colfax Marathon had my calves in knots. Alex’s myofascial work is intense but exactly what I needed. It's a collaborative session; we talk through the pressure the whole time so I never feel overwhelmed."
— Sarah, Runner
"I spend way too much time hunched over my tablet designing. I didn't know the right terms to describe my neck pain, but I didn't need to. Alex understood exactly where the tension was coming from and helped me reduce my aching pains"
— Marcus, Graphic Designer
